RHODE ISLAND SPCA
Washington
2 year old, Male, Pitbull
Meet Washington. He was one of five dogs that were part of a recent cruelty case. Since their seizure on June 7, they have been lovingly cared for in the back section of the RISPCA. On August 30th, the dogs finally became the property of the RISPCA. Each one has their own personalities, each one is an individual. Each is now ready to find the kind of home they always deserved.
He needs to be the only dog in the home, and due to his enthusiasm he would do best with adults only.
As with all dogs who have never been pets in a home, the learning curve will be steep. For Washington, he is going to need lots of positive experiences in the real world. As stoic as President Washington himself, Washington is a sweet boy with a heart of gold. He is eager to learn and loves to walk while enjoying the scenic views. He does love to gallop along the yard and play with his stuffed animals, which he will offer up to you in exchange for treats.
Please note, if you’re interested in adopting any of these 4 boys, we ask that you fill out an application, or email rramirez@rispca.com for more information.
