RHODE ISLAND SPCA
New Building Campaign
The Not Just a Shelter project is a campaign to renovate a new facility for the Rhode Island SPCA. With your help we need to transform the space from an office building into an animal shelter and health center before we can move in.
The most significant aspects of the renovations involve public facing facilities to support animal care and adoptions including bigger and better kennels for our cats and dogs, on site quarantine facilities, indoor training and socialization areas, and a natural dog walking area.
The new building will also allow for administrative offices and meeting space and a new 5,500 square foot veterinary clinic, which will greatly expand the Society’s ability to care for pets of low-income pet owners.
Following the renovation of the Plan Way facility, the Society’s significantly expanded services to the community will include: humane law enforcement, animal adoptions, animal surrenders, veterinary services, hardship boarding and domestic violence support services, training, education, and volunteer support.
Please consider supporting RISPCA’s mission by making an investment in this campaign. The added capacity provided by the new building in Warwick will significantly improve our ability to provide much needed mission-based services for Rhode Island’s animals and communities.
