Buddy in 2007
His Christmas card update from his new family -
"Wanted to let you know that Buddy is thriving! He is a healthy 100 lbs. and loves his new life. He has traveled with us to the Jersey Shore and CT several times. He gets along with our other family member's pets, and has his favorite spot on our sofa."

Sandy was seized as part of a cruelty investigation, along with her 4 puppies, 2 other adults, and 25 cats. She had been kept tied to a tree for 2 years and had given birth at the end of a rope. Her new family have worked on her behavior and fear for about 1 year, and she has really overcome alot. So much so, that it is a possibility that Sandy may do pet therapy work in the future. This extremely gentle dog shares her home with 2 children and a rabbit.

Missy and Coco are so sweet. They are a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you so much for allowing us to volunteer and foster the orphan animals. Everyone at the shelter makes us feel like family.
We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Sincerely,
The Levasseur Family
