| We’ve all seen them. Tired, hungry, homeless,
abused, and neglected, these are the animals
who tug at our heartstrings. The Rhode Island
SPCA is committed to offering aid to any
animal in need, but we cannot do it without
your support. The RISPCA is a 501 (c) (3), nonprofit organization. With your tax deductible donation, we can continue to do the important work of giving shelter to homeless animals, prosecuting cases of animal cruelty and neglect, offering assistance to pet owners who need help with shelter, food, and medical expenses for their pets, implementing humane education programs in schools throughout Rhode Island and more. |

New! Online Sponsorships Sponsor-A-Cage By giving a tax exempt donation, you are directly helping the homeless animals in our care for a period of one year. Your donation will be put toward the food, toys, bedding, and medical needs of any animals living in your sponsored cage for a period of one year. In addition, your family or organization's name will be displayed on the cage you have sponsored, on our website, as well as in our newsletter. Memorial Garden Order Form Gifts and Bequests Many people find it important to support our animal friends both during their lifetimes and after they are gone. If you are interested in leaving a lasting gift to help provide care for the animals at the RISPCA, check with your attorney about your various estate planning options, such as leaving a bequest in a will, in a living trust, giving a gift of real estate, life insurance, savings accounts, etc. If you or your attorney would like more information about leaving a bequest to the RISPCA, please contact our director at 401-438-8150. |
 Because the RISPCA never turns away any animal in need, we often find sick and injured pets left at our shelter. If you would like to help us defray the costs of medical care by sponsoring an animal in need, please mail donations to The Marvin Fund c/o RISPCA 186 Amaral Street Riverside, RI 02915 The Marvin Fund has helped over 1000 animals in need. Read some of the stories about "Marvin's Friends." Matching Gifts Many companies and businesses offer matching gift programs. Employers will often match your contribution to a charitable organization, dollar for dollar. This is a great way to maximize your gifts to the animals. Check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program or would be interested in establishing one. We have many supporters through the United Way. See the United Way R.I. website.
