Meet Our Trainer
Heidi D'Ascoli , ABCDT
RISPCA Obedience Instructor
Our RISPCA trainer is committed to positive,
reward based training and behavior
modification.
She feels that training should be fun
for
everyone,
especially the animal.
Heidi has worked as a respiratory therapist
for the last 15 years,
but animals have always been her true passion.
She has been rescuing and adopting animals
since she was a child, and is currently a
dedicated volunteer at the RISPCA.
Heidi is certified through the Animal Behavioral
College, and is a member of the Association
of Pet Dog Trainers.
Heidi is a Certified Professional
Dog Trainer
and you can visit their website to view their testing and certification
program.
Heidi is now a certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and is in the process of putting
together a program for our area.

an interest in attending a CGC
Certification

New! Puppy Play Group
5:15pm-6:00pm
The cost is $5 per session.
Please email if you plan to attend playgroup
at least 48 hours in advance. Group with
only be held if we have 3 pups or more. You
will get an email confirmation within 24
hours of status of the playgroup.
All pups must be 8-20 weeks of age and must
display appropriate behavior during playgroup.
Pre-screening for all pups is required, you
must submit vaccinations and complete a brief
registrain on your fist day of playgroup.
As the pup in this group age, we may add
an additional playgroup for the well adjusted
pups to continue playgroup as older pups.
Each playgroup will be supervised
by a trainer!
Please bring cleanup bags for
your little
friends.

Puppy Good Manners Calendar
Beginning new class with Erika
Starts May 8th (Friday) 6:30-7:30 pm
Puppies age 10 weeks - 18 weeks
Sessions run 7 weeks
A basic obedience class designed for any
breed puppy:
Thirty minutes of play and 45 minutes training.
Learn the basics of puppy behavior, socialization,
common difficulties, and basic commands.
Puppies learn sit, down, stay, walking nicely,
etc.
Cost $90
$10 discount if dog is former shelter dog
$15 discount if adopted from RISPCA
Class size is limited and will be filled
according to the deposits and
registrations
received.

Adult Good Manners Calendar
Beginning new class Tuesday May 26th from 6-7 pm
Intended for dogs 5 months and older.
Benefits handlers of various
skill levels.
Covers basic dog behavior and
basic learning
concepts.
Rewarding bonding opportunity
for dogs and
humans.
Positive, reward based training
in watch
me, sit,
down, stay, come, walk nicely,
etc.
Cost $90
$10 discount if dog is former
shelter dog
$15 discount if adopted from
RISPCA
